In partnership with the Innovation and Entrepreneurship society of UoN and Jaegersoft, the Dashworks is bringing you an event on the Future of Software Engineering.
This panel-style event will hear from four local start-ups with different engineering and business perspectives, as well as keynote speaker, Jonathan Milgate, CTO of Camplify.
The focus of this event will be discussing market trends and future technologies of software engineering. The panelist will be discussing the different elements of software and the opportunities in the Lake Mac and greater Hunter region that links to different areas of business, including their own businesses. We will be talking about upcoming skills needed in the software engineering industry, business pain points, effectiveness of incubators and mentors, and creating a balance between having a strong focus on engineering services whilst also functioning as a marketable and sustainable business.
